« Every mode of transport has its relevance. An optimum can only result from a well-coordinated interaction of all of them, » says Christoph Werneke, chairman of the board of Mobility Allstars. Since January 2021, the non-profit association has been working with a network of experienced mobility designers for the mobility revolution in the D-A-CH region. Part of the interaction between all of them is also to promote the exchange between different mobility players. The DB company ioki has been a corporate member of Mobility Allstars since 1 July 2022.
« A good quality of life and networked public mobility are closely linked. As part of the Mobility Allstars network, we want to promote and demand networking in the industry, because only together can the mobility revolution and the vision of integrated public transport be realised, » says Dr. Michael Barillère-Scholz, Managing Director and co-founder of ioki GmbH.
Within the framework of the partnership, Mobility Allstars and ioki will combine their expertise to promote mobility topics in the public discourse and to work on forward-looking projects. Events with industry experts are intended to contribute to joint attention and reach for the successful shaping of the mobility turnaround. Dates will be communicated in good time.
The DB company ioki develops intelligent mobility solutions for the future of public transport. With around 70 on-demand services and over 80 mobility analyses in six countries, ioki is one of the leading platform providers for on-demand solutions in Europe and market leader in the DACH region. Since 2017, companies, cities and municipalities have relied on the expertise of ioki to optimise and digitalise transport according to their needs. As a technology partner, ioki develops systems that are fully integrated into the existing public transport system, detailed mobility analyses for a data-based and demand-oriented service, and user-friendly platforms. As a pioneer for autonomous ridepooling, ioki has been setting milestones for digital and autonomous mobility since its founding – from Germany’s first autonomously driving shuttle bus to the planned world’s largest autonomous on-demand-fleet in public transport. More than 140 employees from over 20 nations enable a more sustainable world of on-demand, modern mobility from the heart of Frankfurt.
