Autonomous transport in rural areas – Bad Birnbach
In the Bavarian market town of Bad Birnbach, trials of autonomous electric buses have been conducted as part of two projects: the recently completed “HEAL” (highly automated – social – demand-oriented – rural) research project on demand-responsive rural transport and in the ongoing Autonomous Bus Bad Birnbach initiative.
Digital demand-responsive transport to strengthen public transport in rural areas – ChiamaBus
In collaboration with Cotral Spa, ioki has launched an innovative on-demand service in the rural area of Monti Reatini area, conveniently connecting 30 rural municipalities with the city of Rieti.

In cooperation with Wiltshire Council ioki GmbH has digitised the new demand-responsive and semi-flexible bus services in Pewsey Vale and Marlborough areas.
Digital on-demand service for urban and suburban areas – FlexiTrace
In collaboration with the local authorities of Colmar and TRACE (public transportation network), ioki digitised the existing on-demand service of Colmar and its surrounding communities by developing and implementing the new „FlexiTrace” app in the summer of 2023.
