Combining all of the strengths of the Deutsche Bahn Group with all of the possibilities that an agile start-up can create, ioki is unique. Our team of experts is made up of people from no less than 15 different nations who work together every day to create the future of mobility: smart concepts that third parties can use for providing mobility services and that give people everywhere access to flexible and inclusive transport.

We are an agile team made up of experts who love new challenges and who want to make a change. Coupled with our values-based business culture, this ethos is what makes us who we are and shapes our success as a corporate start-up.  
 
True to the slogan “sharing is caring” (we use English as our language at work), we come together on a regular basis and share what we know and what’s on our minds. We discuss our business objectives at our town hall meetings, use our lightning talks to address issues relating to our broad-based expertise, and our breakfast clubs are for literally sharing – such as the last slice of avocado toast.  
 
We view having a healthy office culture as essential. For this reason, we place great value on open, frank feedback – we believe that this is the only way to make progress. Our agile coaches provide assistance when we need it by guiding our work with their range of support services.

There is no Planet B

We think about tomorrow all the time – not just as part of our day-to-day business, but also as part of our mission to promote a far-sighted, sustainable future. Our own environmental footprint behind the scenes is important to us as well, and we take our responsibilities as a company very seriously. There are many examples, but here are just a few: our team members travel by train when they make business trips, we run a paperless office, and we only work with carefully selected, environmentally aware business partners.
