(Hamburg, November 11, 2019) The on-demand shuttle service ioki Hamburg has already established itself as a mobility module in the neighbourhoods of Osdorf and Lurup and is now also available in Billbrook. Commuters in particular will benefit from this service, which supplements existing bus routes and makes local public transport more attractive.

(Bad Birnbach, October 7th, 2019) Autonomous driving on public roads in Germany reaches the next milestone in the Bavarian spa town of Bad Birnbach: driverless shuttle buses now connect the train station with the town centre, which is about two kilometers away, via a country road.

No broadband, few services, too much traffic – Germany’s cities urgently need to catch up in terms of digitization. This is well known. For a long time citizens have wished for smarter cities with new services and innovative services.

(Berlin, 26 August 2019) No stops, no fixed routes and no timetable: Stadtwerke Krefeld (SWK) and ioki start a night traffic in Krefeld with “my SWCAR”, which can be booked via app. The on-demand shuttles supplement the public transport system flexibly during the off-peak hours between 8 pm and 4 am.
