DB Regio Bus, the market leader in local public transport in Germany, and ioki, Deutsche Bahn’s subsidiary for innovative mobility solutions, are now working even more closely together. From now on, the two DB divisions will join forces to shape new mobility and to enable even more people to benefit from demand-driven mobility through interconnected transport services without owning a car.

(Berlin, 26 August 2019) No stops, no fixed routes and no timetable: Stadtwerke Krefeld (SWK) and ioki start a night traffic in Krefeld with “my SWCAR”, which can be booked via app. The on-demand shuttles supplement the public transport system flexibly during the off-peak hours between 8 pm and 4 am.
