Transforming Rural Transport with Digital Demand-Responsive and Semi-Flexible Solutions

In cooperation with Wiltshire Council ioki GmbH has digitised the new demand-responsive and semi-flexible bus services in Pewsey Vale and Marlborough areas.

The „Wiltshire Connect” services, funded by the Government’s Rural Mobility Fund, aim to create an effi cient and effective transport network that provides a viable alternative to cars, fostering vibrant, well-connected communities. The service offers user-friendly booking options via app, web browser, or phone, ensuring flexibility for all age groups. ioki developed the digital platform for rooting and pooling. The buses are being operated by Salisbury Reds but feature the green Wiltshire Connect branding.
